“Does the bucket have to fill (or be full) for the pump to work?”

• I just got mine today. I see water flowing in the pump hose and I just checked, the bucket is empty. I'm so happy about that. My pump was enabled when I first turned it on. So, make sure that is enabled and also make sure the enclosed tubing is attached securely before you turn it on.

• Once activated, the pump will not begin draining the bucket until it is full.

• The bucket never sees water if you have the drain line hooked up and emptying somewhere like the drain for your laundry, it's how we did it and never a drop of water in the bucket
