Hi, This is a great question to ask! The drain pump can pump up to 16 vertical feet. Do not use a longer length of tubing than the 16 foot long hose provided. Thanks for choosing GE! Mike@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine in a cellar and pump the water straight up 8' and over to my sewer line. I used the entire length of the tubing and haven't had any issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have used it in my kitchen with the hose going upwards to my sink and it pumps the water at that height with no problem - I imagine it would even pump to much higher, the pump seems very powerful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have not been able to get the pump and hose system to work at all, neither horizontally into a floor drain, nor draining into the sink. We can't get it to drain itself and have been draining the bucket manually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have ours in the basement pumping in to the vent for our washer a couple feet away and elevated higher than any sink. Works just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but depending on how much moisture is in the area you put it, will tell you if the pump can keep up with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes. That is how I set it up. Works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The previous answer was not helpful. The question was: can it pump UPWARDS. The answer said pumping DOWNWARDS is not a problem. (???)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
