I saw something about using Wifi to air fry. Not sure why that would be so. I put on the air fry function once since I have it. It cooked fast and I did not use Wifi. Whether or not it actually air fried is anyone's guess though. Try calling the G-E toll free number for any questions, they are a big help. I called them to find out how to lock the control pad when not in use. Every time I wiped down the keypad everything would turn on. The way it needs to be done is different than everything I saw. You need to hold the "0" down for 3 seconds to lock and then press down again another 3 seconds to unlock.
