“An outlet tap how is it different from a power surge strip and is it safe”

The regular outlet come with two right? I bought this because I don’t have enough in my room. I have a lot of electronics connected at the same time. So far so good. The surge strip is the same thing but the cable hanging out I don’t like it. If you buy it , you’ll love it.
