Create a central hub for electronic devices with this GE six-outlet grounded wall tap. Two rows of outlets provide ample space for traditional three-prong plugs and AC adapters, while the low-profile design is ideal for areas with limited space. This GE six-outlet grounded wall tap plugs directly into a standard wall outlet for effortless setup.
Q: Is this 2 prongs or 3 prongs?
A: 3 prong outlets on front and needs 2- 3 prong outlets to plug into.
Q: An outlet tap how is it different from a power surge strip and is it safe
A: The regular outlet come with two right? I bought this because I don’t have enough in my room. I have a lot of electronics connected at the same time. So far so good. The surge strip is the same thing but the cable hanging out I don’t like it. If you buy it , you’ll love it.
Q: Shouldnt an item, such as this, have atleast 1 picture showing the back of the unit?
A: Probably should have a photo, but it essentially plugs into a 2-plug outlet to make it into a 6-plug--so would be a boring photo. Happy with the two I purchased for our bathrooms. Much easier to keep nightlight and toothbrush plugged in continuously, but can fit the hairdryer in without unplugging something else. Convenient. (3-prong plugs on back)
Q: Will this plug into a 2 prong wall outlet?
A: No the ones I have do not plug into a 2 prong wall outlet.
