“Electric cord/voltage Hi, I live in an old apartment bldg wherein the wiring is 120(v) - I guess that's the standard. I want to know the following: (1) whether an electrical cord kit must be purchased and (2) if it comes in 120v? Thanks,”

Most electric dryer power cords are sold separately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes, which vary locally. They are supplied with a 3-prong grounding plug.
