can this dryer be vented from the side null

Not that I know of. The vent is on the bottom right if you are looking at it from the back.

Dryer vent outlet is in the back along with the electrical and water (for steam) hook ups. My dryer vents out through a wall to the left of the dryer. Hope this helps you.
