A:AnswerHello- Thanks so much for checking with us. We recommend keeping the freezer in the upright position. If transporting it in an upright position is not possible, lay it down on the compressor side of the unit. Be careful to secure the door to prevent it from opening. Set it upright in its final location and allow the freezer to sit for the same amount of time that it was on its side (24 hours maximum). Do not plug the unit into the electrical receptacle without allowing this settling time. The unit can be damaged if it is plugged in prematurely. We hope this is helpful! If you have any additional questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

A:AnswerWe ordered one on December 30. It had been previously out of stock, but showed up one day so I ordered it. It was supposed to be delivered late January, but was back ordered. It was finally delivered in early February. I would suggest checking every day and you might get lucky like I did. I even got free shipping to home. Be patient and persistent and you'll eventually get your freezer.
