Hey there, we appreciate you finding time to reach out to us. We're sorry to say there is no way to increase the heat on your dryer, so we would like to apologize if it's taking longer than expected. We know this can be annoying and we're happy to help. We suggest trying the following: 1) Using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. GE Appliances recommends the use of a solid metal vent pipe 4" in diameter for adequate operation. 2) Remove and clean the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen. 3) Improper sorting can cause drying difficulty. Do not mix heavy, hard-to-dry items with lightweight items. We hope this is beneficial to you and we're wishing you the very best. - Guy@GEA
