• There is a light inside when you open it. The door can not be reversed.

• The answer to both is yes. On January 3, 2020 we purchased the 7.2 CF Alum Alloy Drum Gas dryer. Model # GTD45GASJ2WS. I just looked in the door to note the Model # and Serial # on the Owner's Manual cover page. So, I could see that there is an interior light. Shortly after installation, we found the door would work better if we changed the opening direction, so we did.
