“the unit says it 20 3/8 wide. the specifacations say it needs 26 inches minimum width please clarify”

• The installation requirements are accounting for the side curtain panels. The air conditioner can be installed without the side curtain panels if needed to fit in a narrow window. -Don@GEAppliances
