Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mounting kit comes with: 1. A top mounting rail that bolts to the top of the AC which comes with a weather gasket all ready installed. Screws are provided. When the AC is installed the window lowers into the mounting rail, assuming a vertical up and down window. 2. Weather seals to go around the top, bottom and sides of the window to seal the perimeter of the AC. 3. Two side curtain panels that attach to the sides of the AC, which in turn snap into side curtain frames, all adjustable to fill the window width. 4. Two tie down brackets to hold the AC unit to the window sill on the left and right sides. Screws are provided. 5. Two adhesive foam backed sheets that you cut to width and apply to the extended side curtains to seal them. 6. A window lock bracket that you install to a wood structure, either the wood window frame or the wood side jam if you have vinyl windows. Screws are provided. 7. A foam gasket to be stuffed into the upper gap between the upper and lower windows. If this gasket isn't the right size, because the thickness of your window frames vary, your local ACE hardware will have a variety of low cost replacements to choose from. If your windows are not vertically opening, up and down, this installation kit will not work for you. You will need to add supports for the AC, and a way to close the vertical space above the AC, In all probability the gasket and seals can be used if supplemented. Manufactured mounting brackets are available that can be used to support your AC. shop around to find one that fits this AC.
