• A:Answer Hello - Thanks for reaching out about this fantastic freezer. All of our chest freezers function at 115V AC 60 Hz and have approximately a 5 amp draw. The wattage is 575 watts. Freezers typically draw extra current during start up (approximately 2x the running amp draw). The freezer should be on a dedicated circuit. This is recommended for best performance and to prevent the overloading of house wiring circuits. Let us know if any other questions come up. -Mikayla@GEA
