Since the bad guy still has my keys, if the keys are 'universal' then I'm wasting everyone's time and my money replacing the entire unit.”

• Hi Jan-this is Sue from GE. I regret to hear of the burglary and glad to assist you. The keys are not universal. There is a printed code inside the drawer that is necessary when requesting a replacement key. Thanks for checking with us.
