QuestionIn the description it states you can cut the light strip to fit in an area, once it's cut do both parts continue to work or does the cut off part unusable at that point?

- Answer Once you cut the light strip the part that you cut off will no longer function. The light strip needs a power source in order to function. QuestionWill this work with 5G signal? If the signal strength prohibits connection to Alexa voice - cab I just use an app to control remotely? I ask because I once got some smart bulbs that don’t work with Alexa because they need 2.4G signal

QuestionProduct states that it is trimmable but once you cut it, it doesn’t work except the part that’s plugged in. So it’s technically not trimmable? Am I missing something here?

QuestionIf the outlet I plug these LEDs into is controlled by a switch, and I turn them off by the switch. When I turn the switch back on, will it retain all my color settings prior to shut off?

Our light strips are proprietary so we currently do not have any connector pieces aside from the connector pieces that come with our 40 inch extension pieces that only connect directly to the 80 inch light strip and will not connect to cut parts of the strips. -Cync Support Team

QuestionMy 7 year old son wanted these for his room to put on his ceiling ? Are these lights dangerous to have in a child’s room ? I read your warning on the box that they need to be 20cm from body. What does this mean ? Are these lights dangerous ?

- Answer I don’t think these would be a danger on the ceiling. I have them around my desk and run them for about 8ish hours a day with no issue

QuestionHow many 40” extensions can be added to this strip?

- Answer Can keep adding 40 inch extensions up to 32 feet or so. Personally I wouldn’t use this particular brand if I needed 32 feet bc that’s a lot of extensions and each extension is roughly 25-30$
