• Sure, the lower it is, the more chance of obstacle interference, not the house wall *(unless it has aluminum siding or has a foiled type insulation under your siding)? The obstacles are other homes, power wires, bridges, concrete structures, hills, trees, etc. Depends on how strong the signals are.

• I would put this on the roof outside. Inside cuts down the range by a large amount.
