Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. To meet Department of Energy requirements, the clock will not stay on all the time. After setting the clock, the time will remain on the display for 30 seconds before turning off. The time is also displayed while the door is open and for 30 seconds after the door closes. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it does NOT stay on! There is no way to change this as the government’s energy mandates required microwave ovens to do this to save energy. Only complaint on an otherwise excellent microwave!
