“The ins. state that there be a minimum of 30 inches from the stove top to the bottom of the upper cabinet. However, there is only 18.5 inches in our kitchen, but there is 36 inch clearance to the bottom of the cabinet cutout section. Confusing?”

Hi there! Thanks for your question and interest in our microwaves. We found that the minimum clearance of 30" is to the bottom of the cutout section.
