This GE profile microwave does have a light inside.

Yes it does have a light inside, although the tinted glass is fairly dark, so you may need to open the door if you need to check on the food that you are cooking. Hope this helps.

This microwave has a light inside, however when the door is closed and the microwave is on you cannot see inside to see what is cooking.
