“I have a new GE Profile pvm9005sjss and I'm trying to figure out if the control panel can be backlite. It looks like it is a feature, but I can find no way to turn it on in reading the manual. The controls are very hard to read in dim lighting.”

• Hi TomK - Welcome to the family! Microwave control panels, including GE Profile pvm9005sjss, are not generally backlit, which means that the lettering on the keypads do not have lighting behind them. • There is a light setting under SETTINGS (4) but I couldn't see if it works because my microwave is under a skylight and it is very bright.
