- Answer you are correct. The depth of the door when measured from the side is 2.5" however there is an arch outward at the handles and is 4" deep.

QuestionI have tried several different stainless steel cleaners on my fridge. Every one leaves it cloudy and Dirty looking. Help! What is the best product for this? I have had at least 2 other stainless steel refrigerators and never had this problem. Thanks

Our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless offers a clear coat that allows the shine of the stainless to show through. This finish is designed with durability in mind, and makes cleaning easy. Unlike Traditional Stainless, Fingerprint Resistant Stainless does not require the use of special stainless cleaners. To clean: Use a mild solution of soap and warm water with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber cloth. Wipe dry with a soft clean cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting. QuestionIs the ice tray easily removable? Does the ice stay in place when you open the freezer drawer? (the ice falls out of the freezer when we open the drawer of our current Samsung counter depth model).

- Answer Yes to both questions. There is a small lever that you pull, then lift up the tray. I have never had the ice fall out. Not sure I'm really answering your question though. The ice tray is in the refrigerator portion (top left door), so you don't don't open the freezer door to get to the ice tray. Maybe that was just on your Samsung.

QuestionWe finally brought our new refrigerator home this afternoon and got it all set up. I got ahead of myself and played with the front panel. Now the freezer and refrigerator temps are out of whack and I can't get it to do anything but increase the temp. ??

- Answer I had the same problem. Just keep pressing the temp button and it will keep going up and then go back to the lowest setting. The control panel on "Profile" leaves much to be desired. My 9 year old GE Profile had a much better control panel. Hope this helps.

QuestionI'm searching for the GE model PYE22PSHGSS, why does this particular one show up? Does this replace the aforementioned model?

- Answer Hello Val - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The PYE22PSHSS is no longer manufactured and does not have a direct replacement. This PYE22KSKSS model is a very nice model and offers similar features. It also offers the option of having a second icemaker in the freezer and the electronic temperature control with colored LED lighting. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

- Answer To have an additional ice maker in the freezer you have to order a separate kit and install it. It is the GE IM5D icemaker kit.

- Answer This model has 7.16 cubic feet space in the freezer compartment and 14.92 cubic feet in the fresh food section. The fresh food shelf dimensions are the following: 15.7" W x 12" D. The storage height in cabinet (distance from lower shelf to liner top): 18" The fresh food door dimensions is 42.5" in height and 18" in width. - Answer The refrigerator door stops just before it closes, and you need to finish pushing it to close it completely. This is by design, to ensure the french doors are fully closed. They don't lend themselves as well to the auto-close, especially because of the mullion flap in the center. It requires minimal effort to close.
