Hi poolman- The refrigerator power cord is approximately 61" long. Facing the front of the unit, the power cord is on right 8" up and 2" over to left. The water valve on most GE refrigerators is near the bottom of the back of the refrigerator. To determine how much tubing you need: measure the distance from the water valve on the back of the refrigerator to the water supply pipe. Then add 8 feet. Be sure there is sufficient extra tubing (about 8 feet coiled into 3 turns of about 10” diameter) to allow the refrigerator to move out from the wall after installation. There is no maximum length. The line can be run as long as necessary to reach a main water line.
