“I was wondering if this dishwasher will wash only one rack? The top will not fit dinner plates, right? I was hoping I could wash just one rack after a meal for only two people. I can turn off the fan offf when I am not using it?”

Yes it does. There is an option where you can was either just the top rack or bottom rack.

There is not an option to wash only one rack during a cycle. The upper rack is primarily for glasses, cups, and saucers. The fan can be turned off if you deselect the dry boost option.
