“The question is not as much as referring to the gap between case unit and door when opened, but rather if the door when opened is the same height as the bottom of the unit that the rack rests on. My current unit has a height diff resultin in the bump”

The door is the same height as the area where the rack sits. However, there is a slight space between the two that will cause it to have a slight bump.
