QuestionGE model PT7800SHSS. For convection bottom oven inside door panel on left side is a white insulation part that melted during self-clean mode. I could not locate that part. Please help. G Rawal

- Answer Hi, We appreciate you reaching out! The selector dial is used for both the upper and lower ovens. Rotating the dial selects oven settings, upper/lower oven options and cooking options Rotating the dial also increases or decreases temperatures or time. Thanks for your support! Mike@GEA

This allows you to use this unit to it's maximum capabilities and will save you a lot of time when cooking multiple items for friends and family. QuestionI have GE Profile ZET1RM4SS built-in oven that need to be replaced since power board is shot and it is not available any more. Microwave is fine but oven needs to be replaced underneath. What can I get that will fit in the same slot under the microwave.

QuestionHi, what does it mean when it says the power cord is not included? How is the unit connected to power?

- Answer It is hardwired. You will need an electrician to install a 220 line at the top left of your oven cabinet. Best Buy installed my oven for me and they wired the oven directly to the 220 line.

- Answer I replaced an existing old GE wall oven/microwave combo with a new GE Profile Model PT7800SH8SS wall oven/microwave combo that is an exact fit without any needed alterations! Very quick and smooth installation.

QuestionConfused............the upper oven claims to be a microwave. Totally different than the microwave we are familiar with. The new unit has metal insides, metal circular rack yet you can't put metal products inside to heat. Convention does the heating??
