Q: Questionhow do you turn off the self cleaning oven the door is locked or how do you unlock the door
Asked by tootles.
- A:Answer Hello tootles, Thanks so much for reaching out. Good question! To turn off the self-clean cycle, just press the Cancel pad. The door will remain locked until the oven has cooled down and reached a safe temperature. If the oven is still locked, disconnect power for about 1 minute then reconnect power and the door should open. If the door still remains locked, service will be needed. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

Q: QuestionMy sister just bought this oven andit is sooooo slow to preheat Even slower than the old oven she had. I am looking to buy a new wall oven but surely there is one that heats faster. Could you help me!!
Asked by Kat.
- A:Answer Hi there Kat, Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear your sister's oven is slow to preheat and we can understand your hesitation. We're happy to provide some assistance. Preheat takes approximately 10-20 minutes depending on model. If the oven is taking much longer than normal to preheat: First, turn off the circuit breaker for the range, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. This makes sure that it is not getting half power. If it was newly installed, then we recommend having the installer check the power cord to make sure it was wired to the range properly. If not newly installed, an electrician can check the power connections and power supply to the range. We hope this was able to help. All the best! Mike@GEA
