“Can the dials/nobs/buttons be locked in an OFF position for safety?”

• Yes, all controls can be locked with a button that you hold for 3 seconds. This seems to also lock it from remote access also.

• While this lovely Profile range offers the ability to lock the controls for the oven, the burner controls can't be locked.

• Yes it can. It has a dedicated “lock controls” button specifically for that. Hold the button for 3 seconds and it will put a display on the screen saying it’s locked followed by an audible tone for confirmation. Had button again for 3 seconds to unlock.
