It is very quite. You have to listen very closely. And don't hear it over household noise.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There should be nothing but a pings (3) when you initially turn of a burner and a ping as you increase or decrease temperature. If you are getting additional noise, there is something wrong.

Some GE ranges use fans to help cool an oven or range after self-cleaning. The fan or blower could come on during any operation. The oven-cooling fan for the electronic controls is controlled by a thermostat. The cooling fan may run throughout the entire bake cycle and continue even when the oven is off. This is considered normal operation. - Depending on how hot the controls get for the unit, you may hear this fan running while you're using the cooktop burners. Hope you're staying safe. -Michael@GEA
