We had the same problem, solved when an electrician recessed the power outlet behind the range into the wall.

Hello - From the rear of the top vent cover to the back wall, there will be approximately a 0.063” gap. Please make sure the electrical connections are in the grayed out space to help minimize said gap. Thanks for taking the time to reach out. Take care. -Don@GEA

It’s because of the plug in the back.  You can buy a shelf on Amazon to mount above the oven and cover the gap. Search for Stove Shelf.

Put the power cable underneath the range.!!

It is probably because of the plug receptacle. Cut the drywall and put the receptacle inside the wall. That is what we did and problem solved.
