“After professional installation, there is over an inch wide gap between the back of the oven and the wall. Is there anything that I can do about the gap? If I can't adjust the position, can I purchase a separate cover to ensure nothing falls between?”

We had the same problem, solved when an electrician recessed the power outlet behind the range into the wall.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is probably because of the plug receptacle. Cut the drywall and put the receptacle inside the wall. That is what we did and problem solved.
