Hi Joyce! Wonderful question. This model's cutout dimensions are as follows: (Width x Depth) (In.) 33-7/8 x 19-1/8. If your old unit is a GE Appliances branded cooktop, and you're replacing it with another GE model, you can take a look at a rebate that we offer called the Fit Guarantee. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you had a GE in the same spot, it should fit. One difference was that the gas feed was in the center rear of the old cooktop. On this new one, it is in the right rear corner and not quite as far to the back. Fortunately, it still cleared the drawers in the lower cabinet. It is very close, but it does clear the drawers. This new unit has an extra part. It is a small gas line regulator that must be connected in the gas line feeding the cooktop. For some reason, they made the fitting size different from the inlet to the outlet. Not sure why they did that, but your installer will need to be aware of that.
