    Asked by russ.

    • Answer Hello russ - Thank you for reaching out about this special range. The knobs for the range are made of an electro-plated plastic but they are weighted so they have the feel and appearance of metal knobs without the heat issues. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB

  • QuestionDoes this range have a WOK Holder that fits on the grates? I ordered a GE Series P2B94OSEJSS.

    Asked by Jerry.

    • Answer Hi Jerry - Thanks for choosing GE Profile™! A wok accessory is not available. We suggest to check with local retailers. Use only a flat-bottomed wok with a diameter of 14 inches or less. Make sure the wok bottom sits flat on the grate. Do not use a wok support ring. Answered by GE Answers

  • QuestionHi, Can the burners/stovetop be used during a power outage, by manual lighting with a match? If the burners can't be used this way, can you suggest a GE range or cooktop that can be lit during a power outage? I'll be using it with LP gas. Thank you.

    Asked by Oceangirl.

    • Answer Hi Oceangirl- Yes, in the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners with a match. Hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Note: Use extreme caution when lighting the burners this way. The oven is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for standing pilots. Current gas ovens cannot be lit without power. Thanks for choosing GE. Enjoy! SUEatGEA

  • QuestionI was told to look at a "Red Label" GE, but I am not sure what that is or if this one is Red Label. Can you explain that?

    Asked by RLB.

    • Answer Hi there RLB, Thank you so much for reaching out. We label some ice makers with a red label to indicate which refrigerators they are compatible with. But for a range, we do not use anything like this. We'd recommend checking with your local Best Buy for more information regarding a "red label". If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
