• depends on your window. if it’s small or has a weak frame, you might want a supporting secondary mounting bracket. for a standard window, it does include a mounting kit that should work fine. it’s not too heavy, but is deep.

• The EZ Mount window kit which includes the side curtains is included with the air conditioner. If needed, the EZ Mount kit can be purchased through our GE Appliances Parts & Accessories Store. -Vikki@GEAppliances
