great air conditioner - i purchased two to keep a large apartment cool. with both running they use very little power and run fairly quietly to keep the place cool even on the hottest and most humid new england days. only con was that one of them was delivered damaged - the box was wrecked and the unit had some minor damage.

Good quality AC and not too noisy. Terrible delivery - my AC was delivered with cracked frame and front area / grill of the AC hinges were damaged. I was expecting to get a replacement AC at BestBuy store within about 1-2 weeks. On the day the replacement AC was supposed to arrive at Best Buy store, I received an email stating the is not in stock and will not be delivered. I called GE support have been waiting to get replacement grill now for about 1.5 months. 3 parts delivered and all were wrong. Last call to GE, they are promising that I will get correct replacement grill. I provided GE with AC Model No and Serial No. How is it possible for manufacturer not to be able to locate and send correct replacement part. Why was AC delivered with cracks?

I purchased this for my son’s need home. He loves it! Powerful enough to cool down 4 rooms on his first floor. The fact that you can turn it on before you get home is a big plus!
