• Hey there, This is a great question. If you plan to bake on only one level, then you do not need to use the wire rack, but the non-stick metal tray must be used unless prompted to do so otherwise by the oven. • Yes you can. You just need to ensure if you're using a metal dish of any kind that it doesn't touch the metal sides of the microwave.
