“Can the Advantium be installed in a built-in cabinet?”

This appliance also serves as the vent for stove top cooking, so I don't think so. We recently purchased another home and tried to find one that would go with the built in oven. No luck! We bought a second Advantium, and it vents my new cooktop. Still well worth it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are thinking of installing the Avantium in an enclosed cabinet, I would believe it could be a fire hazard without proper ventilation. There are 2 different models, mine replaced an older model Avantium. It is installed over the stove so it also works as a range hood, vented out through the roof. The other model may have different requirements. Please check with the manufacturer or knowledgeable appliance rep. Either way it is an awesome appliance, excellent upgrade from my 15 year old Avantium!
