What is the difference between Opal1 and Opal 2? null

We've made a number of updates to our Opal icemakers. Our newest Opal 2.0 models offer a scale inhibiting filter and XL side tanks. We're confident we offer a model that will suit your needs.

The Opal 2 has a slanted cover you lift to scoop out the ice. The 1 does not. The 1 has the drawer you pull out and hope not to pull all the way out. The 1 drips into its tray when scooping out the ice. The 2 does not.
