The hardness can depend on the quality (hardness) of your water. I have used bottled water, well water and filtered tap water with bottled water giving the softest ice and tap the hardest, but still pretty soft like sonic ice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both. If you get it right when it comes out it’s soft but the longer it sits in the machine the more solid it gets. Water runs over it while it’s making more ice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit makes the soft, crunchy ice made famous by Sonic and Chic-Fil-A. As the ice sits in the ice bucket some melting does happen and the ice becomes a little less soft, but still very eatable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is soft little crunchy. Not hard to chew
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The first couple sets of ice the machine dispenses it very soft but then after that it good. To me it is kind of in between Chik-Fil-A and Sonic Ice, perfect!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - We appreciate you reaching out to us. The ice is soft and perfect for crunching. The ice is similar to the type of ice sold by many establishments today. We love it and are sure you will too. All our best! Vikki@GEAppliances
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does and I love it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ice is small and soft to chew. It doesn’t hurt to chew the ice as it breaks down in a crunchy melting way. It’s safe for my 6yr old to eat and doesn’t damage her molars or hurt them. I ice size is about the size of your ring finger nail.
