QuestionCan this dispenser be hooked up to a direct water line?

QuestionThe description on the website for this model says this unit produces 38 pounds of ice a day. The box in which this is packaged says this unit produces 24 pounds of ice a day. Please clarify. I paid more for this to get higher production.

- Answer The only way this is making 24 pounds of ice a day is if you dispense every nugget as soon as it drops in the bin. I can’t get more that about 12 oz out of it at a time.
