“The description on the website for this model says this unit produces 38 pounds of ice a day. The box in which this is packaged says this unit produces 24 pounds of ice a day. Please clarify. I paid more for this to get higher production.”

The only way this is making 24 pounds of ice a day is if you dispense every nugget as soon as it drops in the bin. I can’t get more that about 12 oz out of it at a time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was lucky to get 1 lb of ice every 2 hours... so i doubt youll be pulling 24 or 38 lbs out of this hunk of garbage in a week. Unless you stay up all night and day emptying the crazy small bun every time it fills up. My advice would be to not even bother opening the box when it arrives and return it immediately.
