If there was water in the tubing, then the unit must have been used. The first one I received from best buy had a severely damaged box and minor scratch on the side, so it was returned without trying to start-up. The second one was in good condition, but when trying to start up, the pump would not prime. Contacted GE and they recommended a method to try to prime, but still did not work. Returned the second one and gave up. It looks huge on the counter, so not sure if we will try a 3rd one.
