• Unfortunately, it is a bit loud. I had a Whirlpool Gold model before, with 3 speed fan, and it was quieter than this 2 speed fan.

• High is loud enough for me for short term use. I use high only to clear the air for a few minutes and then lower the speed to clean up any residual.
