“I am looking to buying this microwave to replace an older 36" wide one. Is there a spacer or trim kit that goes with this model? i have a 6" difference and would hate to have gaps between cabinets.”

No there isn't a trim kit that fits. The bestbuy and GE website states there is one, but its wrong. We purchased both, but the kit doesn't fit once they tried to install the microwave. We had to purchase another microwave instead.

If you are replacing a 36" over-the-range microwave, many current 30" over-the-range microwaves offer an optional 36" filler kit to allow it to be installed in a 36" cut-out opening.
