QuestionWhen was this Microwave from Ge Profile Model # JES2251SJ[SS] first manufactured? Most of these reviews are over 10 years ago. This can't be the same one being sold 10 years later still, can it?

QuestionDoes this microwave need to ventilate and thus must be set on an open space? Or, can it go inside a built-in space?

- Answer Hi Elguapo- Model JES2251SJ is intended for countertop use. We recommend 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We do not recommend installing in tight spaces, like a cabinet. It is not compatible with a built-in trim kit.
