You have to run at least a gallon of water through spout. Once you do that, the drip of water should stop.

This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. On models with a grill drip tray, you will need to be removed periodically and wiped dry. If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, service may be necessary. Please schedule a warranty appointment with GE Appliances Factory Service online at GEAppliances.com/service or call 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We are sorry for this experience and are confident our GE service technicians can resolve any issues to your satisfaction. Keep in touch! Sue
