A:AnswerHi betsy122, thanks for your questions! Yes, this model can be converted to use Liquid Propane (LP) rather than Natural Gas. The conversion kit comes with the unit. We'd recommend that this conversion be performed by a qualified gas professional. - As for the power of the cooktop, converting from Natural Gas to LP would not affect the BTU ratings. We hope this helps! Stay safe. -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerHello Pamelalovestocook - The black surface is porcelain enamel, and it is not stainless. We do offer cleaning instructions for this surface: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16856. -TREY@GEA

A:AnswerHi Ricardo,
The Cafe handles and knobs are unique to the Cafe line of products. You would not be able to purchase them for use on this cooktop. As far as the White finish goes, we are finding that it has a glossy finish, not a matte finish like the Matte White from the Cafe line. We hope that this helped to clear things up! We hope that your kitchen turns out looking beautiful. -Michael
A:AnswerHello byron - Thank you for your interest in this cooktop. Yes, this model can be converted to LP. We even go the extra mile by including the LP conversion kit with the cooktop. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John
