“Has anyone tried to clean the stove grates using the self-clean cycle? If food is spilled on the grates does it turn to ash in the self-clean cycle so you wipe it off? I'd like to know if people are happy with this feature. Thank you.”

Hello, thank you for your question! Only self-clean (black) racks and grates may remain in the oven during a self-clean cycle. If your grates do not have rubber bumpers on their bottom surface, they may be cleaned in the oven using the self-clean cycle. Depending on the debris, it would turn to ash. We hope this helps!
