“Does the door open at a 90 degree angle? I have read in some reviews that it is more like 80 degrees. This is an important factor as I am not tall and the microwave is mounted fairly high. Hoping this might be an installation issue, not a product issue.”

Hi JLS80, thanks for your question! This model's door does open to 90 degrees. Page 4 of your installation instructions offers some dimensions for when the door is fully opened. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The installation kit came with several bottom close out options. I just looked at mine and 80 degrees is accurate. We have a new house with a stack convention oven below and this oven we installed to replace builders so micro. My wife 5’1” and she is fine. It does take some getting use to. We previously had the Kitchen Aid in the last house. I used the speed cooking feature last week on a baked potato and this oven is great. I am an engineer and the hinge in max open loads on itself.
