Does this switch work with z-wave? null

This product only works as an add-on switch for three way and four way configurations when using a primary Z-Wave switch. It doesn't do Z-Wave even. It just triggers the primary switch which happens to be Z-Wave.

There is a z- wave and a zigbee switch. Make sure that you get the right one

12722 model is the master, and is z-wave. The Aux switch 12723 connects to 12722 master. 12723 will not work stand alone.

It could. If your primary smart switch is Zwave. It can also work with other protocols like Zigbee depending on your primary switch.
