No. You need a hub and would pair the switch to the hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This switch doesn't do anything on its own. It doesn't have a relay so it can't carry a load. It's just an add-on switch to trigger the main switch. You buy this for three way and four way switch configurations. Even if this was the main switch you couldn't control it with an app. Your phone can't speak the same frequencies this does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need a Z-Wave controller. This won't function without one. How would an app on your phone transmit a signal on the frequency of the switch? Phones have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. They don't have Z-Wave radios. Ain't no such beast.
