Hi JRS- The only recommendation we suggest on Refrigerator Installation Location and Temperature; It is not recommended that refrigerators be used in unheated locations, such as garages, porches, or unheated rooms during periods when the temperature is likely to fall below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, We do not recommend installing a refrigerator where the temperature will exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is completely enclosed on the back and safe on a covered patio. The con is that eventually the stainless face on the door will rust out. May take 3+ years but it will happen.
